“ Food was very good, however we expected a “bit more”. The “extra mile” was missing. Service was ok, as young couple we didn’t really fit in apparently, and this we felt with every contact with the waiter. ”

“ Luckily this place was close to our accommodation so we stumbled across the restaurant liked the look and feel of the menu and booked lunch for the next day. We had a little dog with us, that they were very happy to accommodate. The service, food and choice of wines was wonderful. We had an unrushed, experience of the local food and wine, carefully and brilliantly presented. The server explained in both Italian and perfect English the significance of each dish. I don't like to give individual dish recommendations however can recommend the mackerel starter and both the pork and beef mains. (My wife and I swapped half way) ”

The food is clearly inspired by the authentic cuisine of Basilicata, but the chef gives his own twist at every dish. The risotto was the best I had during our trip in the south of Italy. So smooth and creamy! The service in this high end restaurant was outstanding too. A lovely experience overall. ”
